What is Spent grain?

Spent grain is essentially the grains left after the mashing step of the brewing process. They are food waste that is a byproduct of the brewing industry that accounts for a very high percentage of waste. They do not contain alcohol or hops so they can be repurposed for anyone to eat. It is a way for me to be sustainable, connect with the community, and be locally sourced.

Where are you located?

You can pick up some Barry Sweets Treats at many breweries and coffee shops around the city. Check out the partnerships section for more details!

Do you have a physical storefront?

I currently work out of a shared kitchen in Chicago. However, I always take custom orders for both pick-up and delivery.

Do you deliver?

Absolutely! Please inquire about delivery range and fee.

Do you have a minimum order quantity?

$30 is the minimum order for delivery. 

Do you take custom orders?

I always take custom orders! If you have an idea or a past item you don’t see on the menu, please reach out! I can cater for parties, events, and weddings. I can also do gluten free and vegan upon request.

Who is Barry?

Although I appreciate the guessing game, Barry is my last name. So the answer is-We are all the Barry’s.
